ELOPEMENTS

When couples get married at our Estate, they essentially rent the entire property for the duration of the long-weekend.  The experience is not just a wedding day event, it’s a whole wedding weekend that’s loaded with time to connect with family, friends, nature and each other.

 

The Magnolia House venue team, along with our preferred co-ordination team will be with you on property on your wedding day to ensure it's a beautiful event. For the rest of the time here, the property is your space to enjoy privately with your loved ones.

Weddings

32+ Guests​​

 

Accommodations​

  • A minimum 3-night stay is required for weekend events. 

  • Larger weddings require renting the entire property:

    • Magnolia House + Cottage - 14 Guest​

    • Garden House - 6 Guests 

​

Venue Rental

  • Maximum event size is 80 guests â€‹

  • Event Availability: â€‹April - First Weekend in November​​​​

  • Tables, chairs, flatware, linens, plates, and other event needs will need to be rented through a third-party rental company​

  • Event Spaces

    • Ceremony: Walnut tree lawn

    • Cocktails & Dancing: covered pavilion 

    • Dinner: Outdoor side lawn (tent required through a third-party rental company)

​Additional Details

  • Preferred vendor list provided although you may also select your own vendors.

  • Coordination:

    • Hiring the Magnolia House's preferred local coordination team is required.  This team has been managing events here on property for 2 + decades.

  • Catering: Caterers must provide a COI and meet our venue protocols by signing a catering contract.

  • Bartending team must be licensed, insured and provide a COI.  

  • There will be a contract rental agreement in place.

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your date.

  • Liability insurance is required.

Investment

  • 3 Night Weekend Accommodation Fee + Venue Rental - last week in April through 1st week in November:

    • starts at $11,099.00 + tax (high season) (includes lodging in 10 bedrooms for up to 20 guests plus venue fee.) 

    • some off season discount may apply for quieter months - please inquire. 

  • ​Wedding Co-ordination Fee: $3,000.00 - $3,250.00

  • Rental furnishings will be an additional cost for all groups of more than 32 guests. 

  • For less than 32 guests - clients can utilize Magnolia House furnishings (farm tables and cross back chairs).  Please read through the information on Microweddings below. 

Micro Weddings

What is a micro-wedding? â€‹

It's a wedding with all the formalities, just with a short guest list!

Venue Rental

  • Event Availability: â€‹April - First Weekend in November​​​​

  • We provide dinnerware, tables, and chairs for up to 30 guests:

    • 3 - 9ft farm tables

    • 30 cross-back wooden chairs

    • White plate-ware (dining plate, salad plate, wine glass, water glass)

    • Classic silverware 

  • Event Spaces

    • Ceremony: Walnut tree lawn

    • Cocktails, Dinner, & Dancing: Covered pavilion ​

    •  $11,099.00 + tax 

    • Some off season discounted rates may apply, please inquire.  

  • ​Wedding Co-ordination Fee: $2,500.00

  • Only required to rent the Magnolia House + Cottage - 14 Guest​s​

    • Rental fees range from $7,899.00 + tax (low season - (winter) - $9,899.00 + tax (high season)​​​​​​​​​

  • ​Wedding Co-ordination Fee (may be optional based on your needs, please inquire): $2,500.00

Elopements

What is an elopement? ​

We define an elopement as a smaller wedding (up to 20 guests)
that has a simple ceremony with your most important guests gathered around.  A co-ordinator is generally present for an hour prior to the ceremony and about 30 minutes after the ceremony.  

​

Our elopement couples may choose to hire one of our preferred catering teams to come in and setup, cook and cleanup a wedding dinner for you.  Wedding dinner furnishings including chairs and tables are available for your use.

Venue Rental

  • Event Availability: â€‹April - First Weekend in November​​​​

  • We provide dinnerware, tables, and chairs for up to 30 guests:

    • 3  - 9ft farm tables

    • cross-back wooden chairs

  • Event Spaces

    • Ceremony: Walnut tree lawn

    • Cocktails & Dinner: Covered pavilion ​

    • Indoor event - ceremony in the front parlor in front of the bay window. 

​

​Additional Details

  • Preferred vendor list provided although you may also select your own vendors.

  • Coordination:

    • Hire our preferred elopement co-ordinator to manage the details.   Approximately $650.00

  • Catering: Caterers must provide a COI and meet our venue protocols by signing a catering contract.

  • There will be a contract rental agreement in place.

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your date

  • Liability insurance is required.

Winter Elopement

You, your partner and up to 12 additional guests stay at the Magnolia House and get married indoors overlooking the gardens.

  • We provide dinnerware, tables, and chairs for up to 14 guests:​

    • White plate-ware (dining plate, salad plate, wine glass, water glass)

    • Classic silverware 

  • Event Spaces

    • Ceremony: The Parlor Room

    • Dinner: Indoor Dining Room

​Additional Details

  • Preferred vendor list provided although you may also select your own vendors.

  • Coordination:

    • Co-ordination includes setting up for the event and breaking down the event.   

  • Catering: Caterers must provide a COI and meet our venue protocols by signing a catering contract.

  • There will be a contract rental agreement in place.

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your date

  • Liability insurance is required.
